APPROACH Business mentoring has been a consistent feature of the long-term Stratigi/Ali Max relationship, with Ali wisely booking 'Stratigi time' just to bounce ideas around and channel her thinking on her business. Unusually for an artist, Ali was also happy to let Stratigi devise her logo and brand - trusting that Stratigi would produce just the right blend of commercial and creative.
RESULTS The Ali Max brand goes from strength to strength, with Ali's stunning textiles and hand-made papers achieving good sales even in the current 'no frills' market. Planned developments to the website will give the company further exposure to international markets, where demand for timeless, sustainable art pieces is even stronger than in New Zealand.
