The brief: Website design

Hamilton Boys High School (HBHS) had very clear objectives that they wanted their website to achieve. Firstly, they wanted to develop a website that would promote the school to prospective students and their parents. They also wanted their website to act as a communication tool for existing students, parents and staff. Finally, HBHS wanted the website to act as an information source about the school to local community and stakeholders.

Approach

Stratigi's approach spanned full website design and build incorporating strategic advice as to: understanding target audience needs and business priorities; reviewing technical and content management requirements; evaluating ways of managing content and recommending a strategic, well-resourced approach.

We were mindful that HBHS operates in an environment that is characterised by an ever-increasing demand on educational quality and excellence so we designed the website to express HBHS progressive culture of excellence in all areas and strong balance between academic, sporting and wellbeing accomplishments. The website is the focal point for news, events, celebrations and announcements across the entire school community. HBHS' website provides proactive and efficient support of the school's wider marketing and communication endeavours.
